Individual Therapy

Individual therapy with me is a collaborative process and a space where you can feel safe enough to slow down, speak openly, and reconnect with yourself. I see therapy not as something to “fix” you, but as a place to create the conditions where clarity, insight, and change can emerge naturally.
People come to therapy for many reasons. Sometimes life feels overwhelming or stuck. Sometimes long-standing ways of coping no longer feel supportive. For many, therapy begins after years of being in survival mode, where there was little room to reflect on needs, emotions, or inner experience. In those moments, therapy can become a place of reconnection, a chance to meet parts of yourself that may have been set aside for understandable reasons.
Therapy is shaped by listening carefully and tuning into what you need at this point in your life. It will look different for different people, and even for the same person at different stages. Some sessions may be about feeling deeply heard and understood. Others may involve gentle reflection, exploring patterns, or thoughtfully challenging beliefs that no longer serve you. We move at a pace that feels right for you.
I see therapy as a partnership. You are the expert in your own life, and my role is not to tell you who you are or what you should do, but to help create a space where you can reflect, make sense of your experiences, and access your own wisdom. This includes being present with difficult emotions without rushing to solutions, offering honesty without judgement, and holding the work with steadiness and care.
You do not need to have everything figured out to begin. Therapy can be a place to take things one step at a time, honouring where you are, and allowing space for parts of you that are ready to be seen, heard, and supported.
